Is
it Morally for Afrikaans Ceased Away as Muslims or Christians? Murtala

disputes, democracy outrages and religious disturbances are the common
types of clashes that frequently occur in Africa. Inter-ethnic conflicts
for instance, land disputes is a mere disagreement on who actually owned
the land by heritage, which often leads to rampage killing tribal
members of each segments, like the on and off conflicts between the
Jukuns in the Former Wukari Federation, Taraba State and Tivs from
Taraba/Benue States in Nigeria. Or inter-ethnic dispute between Bachama
and Hausa Youths, which since the present location of mosque close
vicinity of Bachama Chiefdom, has become a source of bloodshed in Numan,
Adamawa State [ThisDay News Paper, June 12, 2004]. Other inter-ethnic
dispute occurs in Nigeria whenever the Fulani helmsmen grazed cattle on
the neighboring communities’ farms causing damages. While
democracy outrages occur in many instances, one notable is when the
political-militiamen invaded Jato-Aka in Benue State, the Traditional
Headquarters of the Tiv Nation and exhumed the remains of former
Minister Paul Unongo’s parents and burnt them to ashes [The Punch News
Paper, June 27, 2004]. Or as party-affiliate members disagreed on the
outcome of election or did not favor the unexpected candidate winning
and that often results in murders, as Nigerians witnessed in April 1999
and the subsequent election in April 2003. The
most dangerous brand is the religious disturbances (Editorial Page, The
Heritage News Magazine, February 2004; Vol. 2. No 10). Religious
disturbances have proven deadest compared to inter-ethnic disputes and
democracy outrages combined; whenever religious disturbances are
involved for example Islam and Christianity- the reaction on both sides
of the coined results in large quantity of causalities. Therefore, was
it amazed that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Poll shows
Nigeria the most religious country? If such poll is surprised to you,
the poll wasn’t, especially acknowledging the statistics of Nigerians
wantonly at each other in the name of Islam and Christianity. BBC should
further complete their survey to determine the most “religious
fanaticisms nations” to compliment the recent poll on the “most
religious nations.” Because, Nigeria would equally match it world
number one ranking as the most religious fanatic nation! Africans
are dying naturally or unnaturally as Christians and Muslims; naturally
here is that Nigerians are ceasing away as believers in Islam or
Christianity through sickness, accidents etc and unnaturally here is
that, many are ceasing away by violence. Thus for seek of rescuing most
of us who are so called followers of Islam and Christianity. Assuming
[Almighty God] visited our homes without sending the prophets (Jesus
Christ and Mohammed) as most unconsciously claimed they come to us in
spirits and asked; from now on, is it rightly for Afrikaans ceased
existing as Christians or Muslims? As a scenario here, maybe our
explanations to God is that it’s morally for Africans ceased away as
Christian(s) and or Muslim(s) with convincing arguments or not and ‘He
asked us again,’ what’s the problem with African traditional
religions? On
this part, I have no idea what our responses will be; however,
individually, I
would answer [God] that; there is nothing wrong with our traditional
religions, except Africans mindsets is ‘so old’ that our ancestors
were and most of us inherited the deceptions of Islam and Christianity
crusades causing huge problems on our lives and, our society ever since.
The west and Middle Eastern societies have psycho-conscribed our
ancestors married their religions for economic incentives and ‘denying
that we are, to be that they are,’ which is unnatural so that Africans
are divided with senseless mind to depopulate Africa as the world is
witnessing today in Africa. For decades Nigerians are merciless or
unjust to themselves and as gifts in attempt to show their romanticisms
with the second hand religions of choices. In Plateau, Kano, Kaduna,
Adamawa, Bauchi and others are killing each other as sacrifices to the
imported faiths. The
recent triggered in Adamawa, Kano and Plateau States, which no fewer
than 700 lives were lost and significant number of communities is
displaced with assets lost. The massacres led to the Messiah
of Christianity in Nigeria, President Olusegun Obasanjo Declared
State of Emergency in Plateau State by suspending the State Governor,
his Deputy and the entire House of Assembly and restoring
military/democracy regime dictatorship. Is President Obasanjo renewing
“an old military rivalry in democracy” in Plateau State to undermine
the capability of elder statesmen resolves their conflicts or is it
morally and constitutionally justifiable to suspend an elected Governor,
his Deputy and the House of Assembly elected by the people? If Governor
Joshua Dariye of Plateau State member of the rivaling party-ANPP, would
the declaration by Obasanjo be acceptable by the people or ANPP
party-members without prompting more harm than good? Why
President Obasanjo didn’t suspend Governors Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano)
and Boni Haruna (Adamawa) and their subordinates from office for carbon
copy acts of rampage killings in the name of Islam and Christianity? Closing
Thoughts:
Psychologism,
inter-communal conflicts are natural problem in the Dark Continent,
preferably is better than democracy and religions of Islam and
Christianity that are sacrificing black people unconsciously, which are
unnatural to African society. Nigeria democracy is not natural, but
artificial democracy (borrowed systematic western democratization),
which proven deadly since its adoption, where political rivals hired
assassins to kill rivals or stealing from the public coffers in the name
of positions or becoming famous leaders. Even donating portions of the
stolen exchangeability to various Islamic or Christianity so called
charities and or foundations to further promote and encourage followers
to kill. As our leaders stealing from the public coffers and donating to
these charities and foundations of Islam or Christianity urging
followers to sacrifices within us, how many black people will be left to
safeguard the Dark Continent after generation x and y are deceased in
about 80 years from now, if we are using the foreign religions as weapon
against ourselves? Black
people of Africa have adopted the looseness of western notion that
religion is a personal believes; therefore Africans ought to decide or
choose what to practice unconsciously, is Africans aware that for us to
have our continent and as people of the Dark Continent, we must practice
our nature in order to have sense of direction and belongingness?
Africa, which Africans have known to be an elderly society, whereby our
elders set the standard for the rest, why western and Arabic psychology
that are passed onto us through their educational systems are evolving
unmoral changes on us and our society as refined individuals in the new
world? The
evil side of Islam and Christianity is that, these theisms are with us
unconsciously. Morally and consciousness, ceasing away as followers of
these faiths do not worth it, these faiths are tearing black people
apart just for being around. On God’s request…! Should God ask that
I request on behalf of Afrikaans; firstly, I would ask God to renew our
mind, spirit, body and soul toward knowing what we are inflicting on
ourselves and our society. Next, entirely demarcate North Africa region
to the Middle Eastern state. North Africans (Arabs) are only in the Dark
Continent by accident through emigration to spread their religions and
as hideout environment for simply that they cannot live in peace, as
such, what made their religions safe for black people to practice? Further ask that [HE] must take away Islam and Christianity from Africa or far worse, dissolve Islam and Christianity from existence and restore our natural religions. See where Africans can continue to go wrong with the original theisms in our society. In the end, position our mind as old Africans were honest before the west and Arab societies brought unnatural spiritualities and enterprises making black people hate each other for their profitability. |
