A popular Igbo saying goes thus, “ a notorious thief will be the first out of guilty conscience and defense mechanism, to call an innocent man a rouge”.

It appears there are  many “Dr”(s) in this wide world. Dr. of medicine, Dr of philosophy, and “Dr” in inter- net . The two formers, I know, are obtained after good effort and hard work in the college. The merited bearers rarely use it so often and publicly. They are recognized through their application on their merited professions. The later is obtained and used by attaching Dr before your name on the inter net, just like one Sylvester Omosun Fadal. Oops! I almost typographically erred by typing Sylvester Omosun Fatal.

This man Fatal  excuse me, Fadal has just written a rejoinder to a well thought, a well presented rejoinder to Tunde Adenobi’s Igbophobia, “Igbo Dating Yorubas But Marrying Hausa?Fulani”. by Ndubbueze Godson.

Hear Mr. Fadal, “Ignorance is sometimes equaled to non-significance and the rejoinder by Ndubueze does not only expose his retarded analytical skills and general character flaws but also, it shows his level of comprehension of intellectual discussion. Ndubueze tendency to attack the character person rather than the subject is an obvious indication of his failure to understand the rules of reasonable discussion augmented by competent reasoning in “an” (emphasis mine) effort to reach a valid conclusion and an acceptable/unacceptable finding. To avoid condescending to his level of non-insight and non-intellectual brilliance, I will not dissect his article and would rather apply brief and finite response to shine the light on his weakness as indicated by the writing of an “oxymoron” who lacks the ability to establish a solid purpose (purposeful, I think) statement, analyze, support and validate the purpose (purposeful) statement with convincing evidence in (an) effort to reach an acceptable finding”. All emphasis on Mr. Fadal’s grammatical jargons are mine.

Mr. Sylvester Omosun Fadal is a clear case of kettle calling a silver pot black.

This a yoruba man defending another yoruba man’s trash. Well, Mr. Fadal, it is a bunkum. Your rejoinder is putrid, naďve, arrant nonsense and an unprecedented height of intellectual piracy. It is also a case of monumental analytical fraud. It is the same Sylvester Omosun Fatal who recently wrote, “Igbo presidency, not now, not later”…….,  Why are the yorubas afraid of Ndigbo? Perhaps it is not difficult to dissect. Their fear is purely based on inferiority complex. Mr. Fatal deliberately ignored that it was Tunde Adenobi  who attacked  Peter Opara in his tired and it was exactly what Ndubueze was  trying to point out to Tunde  not to  go into personal attack.

Ndubueze correctly pointed out to Mr. Tunde the assemblage of Ndigbo that

gave legitimacy to NADECO, because Tunde  omitted the fact that while the yoruba   group of the NADECO fled from Nigeria as usual, a youruba trade         mark in the face of fire, the igbo group stayed put to slug it out with Abacha and his killing squad.

In Tunde’s biased commentary, being defended by Mr. Fadal, his negative and delusive commentary on Ojukwu is a great disrespect to every Igboman and woman. Are Igbos actually dating the Yorubas and marrying Hausa/Fulani?   In the 60s, the late chief Obafemi Awolowo was jailed, the late S.L. Akintola allied with the north, the great Zik was there for the Yorubas. General Obasanjo was jailed, chief Alex Ekwueme was there to shield the yorubas from Abacha killing machine. Hence the formation of group 34. During NADECO, the Igbos provided legitimacy to the NADECO. When general Alani Akinrinade  and Ahmed Tinubu fled the country, Ndubisi Kanu, Chime Ubani, Joe Igbokwe and late MCK AjuluChukwu were there to shield the Yorubas. When professor Wole Sonyinka fled the country, Emeka Agbakoba, Philip Umeadi, Chris Anyanwu and George Mba were there to shield the Yorubas. It is an incontrovertible fact that the January 15, 1966 coup where the most brilliant minds of Igbo descent in the history of Nigerian army struck, was to rescue the Yoruba nation from the jaws of northern feudalism, and release chief Awolowo and make him the prime minister. Read the current interview of col. Emmanuel Nwobosi one of the innermost planners and excutioners of the January 15, 1966 coup. Read “Why we struck” by Major Ademoyega.

Read “My recollections” by Brigadier Benjamine Adekunle. It is a fact that the Igbos voted massively for Obasanjo and Falae during the 1999 Nigeria ’s presidential election even when the Yorubas  overwhelmingly rejected Obasanjo. It was an Igboman that gave up his presidential nomination to Falae. His name is Dr. Ogbonnia Onu.

If these inter net dokitas, are real, they should be more concerned with daily prints such as, “Afenifere chieftain  heads IBB presidential group in Lagos ”.

Guardian newspaper, July 31, 2004 .  Afenifere/YCE screen IBB and Abubakar Atiku for presidential support’. It is not only a tribal shame, but also a tribal calamity on the part of the Yorubas to fraternize with Babangida or any northern cabal, after he and Sani Abacha and the northern Islamic cabals made Awolowo ex-convict, Obasanjo ex-convict, general Diya, general Tunde Olanrewaju, general Abdulkareem Adisa chained and made ex-convicts. Late chief MKO Abiola was elected in the freest and fairest election ever conducted in Nigeria ’s shore. Babangida annulled it without any reason. Abacha imprisoned him, killed his wife. Abdulsalami Abubakar murdered him. All Babangida needs to do is say I am sorry to the Yorubas, he will be massively supported by them in his bid to come back again dehumanize them.

What this boils down to is, Awolowo was from great tribal leader to sorry national ex-convict. Obasanjo was from ex national head of state to a national ex-convict. Abiola was from president elect to a national prisoner and finally to his grave. Mr. Sylvester Omosun Fatal accused Ndubueze Godson of intellectual retardation, grammatically deficient, and analytically insignificant. Surprise, surprise, surprise. A yoruba man accusing an Igboman  of academic deficiency and grammatically and analytically insignificant. This is a new height of tribal irredentism. This is an unprecedented height of tribal zealotry. My understanding of Mr. Sylvester Omosun Fadal is a man intoxicated with arrogant uncertainties. A stereotyped egg-head with a hyper tribalistic tendency, who has been indoctrinated to be first class intellectual deficient. An amala swilling chauvinistic boor who literally attach Dr to his name to give an impression of a learned doctor. That is a hoax. One good thing is that Sylvester and Tunde do not represent the learned and main stream Yorubas, otherwise he who lives in a glass window should not throw a rock.
