Atiku Not Like Taft

This piece of story seems to me like a history of William Howard Taft the 27^th President of United States of America (1909-1913). After Roosevelt announced he would not seek re-election in 1908, and recommended Taft as the man who would follow his politics. At first, Taft rejected, preferring to wait for possible appointment to the Supreme Court. But Mrs. Taft and his brothers helped change his mind.

The story is not the same thing with Atiku, who is aiming for presidency at the early day of their second tenure, as Vice President with nothing done for the people in the country. Apparently his home state (Adamawa), with no single Federal or State Government project in progress, since they were sworn into office (1999-Date).

Clearly Atiku is a crass, wicked leader who destroys the fortune of Adamawa and does not deserves to lead anyone from now on, example here in Yola, they are in zero-sum game. He displaces many people from their native home by forcefully or tactfully acquiring their landed properties. Yola (North & South) are the capital city of Adamawa state, and no one and single project is undertaken by this government. Let me take example by these few basic amenities:

HEALTH: The existing hospitals are clearly falling with no attention, the patients receive no proper attention, and no efficient qualified Doctors, no standard equipments, no stability of electricity supply. For proper diagnosis and treatment, people have to spend their money to private hospital which is own by him and his collaborators built from looted public fund. And I have a strong believed that Government is releasing funds to facilitate this sector, but bungled.

ROAD: Here in Adamawa State entirely, this Government has not undertaken any road construction, either in the state capital or any other town in the state. Therefore roads in the state suffer total neglect. Even the one embark upon by Federal Ministry is being snowball by his influence. What a shamed! Yola-Mubi link reconstruction took them almost two years with less than 106 kms out of a distanced of 230 kms covered.

WATER: Pipe borne water is mirage in Yola and Jimeta metropolis. One wonders if Government has a ministry in charge of water treatment to acquire drinking water of 100% purity. Even in place where there is pipe, purity is not there, as the water is always muddy. I believe that Atiku’s influence in Boni’s failure is glaring, since the VP is always in town. What a greedy?

ELECTRICITY: Federal Government decision to extend the 330kv power line to Yola formerly terminated at Gombe and cannot be overemphasized. The contract awarded to Dextron Chrome Consortium had taken a slow dimension, meaning an invincible hand had delved in to deny us this benefit. Don’t forget Atiku the VP is a proud son of this state. How do we think Atiku will be a haven to us Adamawas?

Atiku is just a yokel who left Adamawa people with zilch and wretched only “so called” his boys are enjoying the dividend of his personal Government where by constructing of big mansions within a short period of time, having 100% enjoyment of life he has forgotten that there is thousands of people who makes him proud as he is today.

Today Atiku had countless number of personal properties been snatch from both Government and the public since taking over. Example, Nation wide AP filling stations is own by him plus lifting crude oil to over seas and others not mentioned. In Adamawa many of that nature was snatched, like Afcott, Faro Bottling and Thousands of Hectare of land. Feeling he is a goliath.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: The Good-revealed clearly example by Henry Moore Teller (1830-1914) of Colorado , served five terms in the United States Senate. In 1896, he withdrew from his party because its platform called for a monetary system based on the gold standard. Teller favoured the free coinage of silver because it would benefit Colorado a leading Silver producing state. What a love?

The Bad- Atiku has only a personal initiative that will benefit self. That’s why he started campaigning for Presidency, immediately after robbing the masses for the 2^nd tenure as the VP more or less the Hitler of this jet generation. He goes down in history as the sadistic powerful VP that his home state is still a rural state. This is because his home state has water vendors as the only source of water supply, car owners are parking their cars in protest of bad roads and where people cherish to going to quacks doctors for treatment and diagnosis, since public health services is ailing. Alas, Atiku by all ratification has no credentials to be the President. But as political armed robber anything can happen.

The Ugly- Considering the facts, Atiku’s ventures are within Yola and Jimeta metropolis, no mass, i.e. people that voted him into power enjoys services of his ventures. Example Abti Academy has every modern facility in place, but masses are not considered to enjoy the Abti services. Currently with the erratic power supply, all power supply meant for Yola town is diverted to Abti, thereby depriving the inhabitants of Yola, the expected power. Knowingly well that he has nothing to improve the power supply to the state.

On conclusion, Atiku will have nothing to show for his stewardship to the state. Therefore, the Vice President should know that even Maradona with his tactful and cheating gimmicks was brought down with time and the name already written in Gold was dusted off, hence will not leave to remember him. Atiku still have 2½ years to mend fences with his grassroots electorates if personal desire to acquire wealth will not allow him, and then let him know that people will sincerely pray for his downfall come 2007. God will surely tear us free of this intending terror. ATIKU HAVE A MERCY!!!!!!
