While it may feel very distasteful to the President, the America report must not be ignored, in fact, the Americans may not be far from being correct.

The situation in Nigeria is very sad indeed. There is crisis with Massob, the Niger Delta etc. If we do not change things in Nigeria, if we do not respect civil rights, if we do no include all in the economic process, Nigeria may not reach the fifteen years as one, in fact 2007 will tell us where we go. If Obasanjo is given by fraud a third term, then he has not learned from the lesson of history. If the Americans are mentioning junior officers, it is because they are preparing the gorund for bloodbath because of our oil and we must move at once to arrest the situation not by sending suspects to the firinmg squad but to make them more patriotic by listening to their reasons and using them more positively as agents of peaceful change.

For now in reaction to this intelligent report, The President did the right thing to inform the Senate President, it is a sign that the President wants Nigeria to remain united for this  reason he must see all that is wrong and proceed with the corrections. I still believe that undermining many of his errors, President Obasanjo is still the only person that can set
Nigeria on the right course if he wants.
The ways our politicians are looting the country can also be evidence that they are storing away money for a come back to their individual domain if
Nigeria becomes split. I will prefer that they use that money to support keeping us together.  There are African countries that want Nigeria to disappear. During the Nigerian civil war, Julius Nyerere said that Nigeria was too big and a security threat to other Africans, for that reason Nigeria must split, and he supported Biafra
not because he liked the Igbo but because he does not want a powerful African country. What a shame on Nwalimu.

Sovereignty is in the hand of the people. Sovereignty is making every Nigeria part of the economic process; everyone must have some interest at stake to protect the sovereignty of the country. If the grand majority continue to be excluded from the economy, the fifteen year deadline will be tomorrow and no one can stop it.

What are the signs that Nigeria may not reach fifteen years and how do we take up the challenge to save the nation from collapse?

  1. Absolute respect for civil rights without ignoring the sacred values of our traditions. A typical example of violation of civil rights victim is that of a Nigerian who is married with in Nigeria with  Nigerian wife or wives and with Nigerian children in Nigeria, but because of hard life he travelled abroad to work to support his family at home, for this Nigerian to survive, he took up foreign citizenship, but when he goes to the Nigerian Embassy for visa, they request him to get a letter of visitation to enable him go back home to his wife and children in the village where there is no electricity and no post office. The Embassy officials see the face and even speak Igbo, Yoruba or Urhobo  with him or her, but still request visa. This Nigerian is very active in the Nigerian community and still his visa denied. Thus a nation then sends out such diplomats really wants to survive? Such a disappointed Nigerian could become agent of perturbation to the nation. It the President want to prevent Nigeria from splitting, he must address this social injustice.

  2. I am a citizen only of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I  lived in the jungle working with my parents as farmers, I lived in the desert of Chad, I lived in the jungle of Liberia for two years and served as village headmaster for one year, today I am a trained engineer horis causa, I lived in one of the largest cities in the word for the past 28 years, I have worked with machines, I developed technology, I have compiled technological solution that suits the jungle people that I knew, my projects could bring millions of Africans into the economic system thus maintaining the sovereignty of Nigeria, I have compiled information on machines available here in Argentina that will help the villager to increase their productions, I have on hand simple technology that will in five minutes after installation will provide organic material free water to every inhabitant, non of the three-tier governments in Nigeria would sponsor my projects compiled in a civilized countries for our people but Nigerians envoys abroad are looking for solutions from white men abroad who are strange to Africa to offer solutions to Africa. The Governor of Kwara State gave U$D 260,000 to every white farmer to immigrate to his state whereas with U$D100,000 dollars my project could be set up in one village serving all the production in 10 villages of his state, this in turn  will relocate me home and the loan for this project will be paid back in just one year. That is why we have the former Vice President of The World Bank as our Minister of Finance, to grant loan to white farmers. Let us ask her that  since she was appointed as Minister of Finance how many viable loans have been given to Nigerian Engineers to create Engineering  solutions for our people. Does she not know that Nigerian Engineers are what are needed to create the infrastructures needed?. My people! The President may want a better Nigeria, but he is surrounded by ‘vende patrias’ the sellers of our homeland. I feel discriminated and excluded from the economic process in Nigeria, I feel discriminated as a black man by the Nigerian authorities. Mr. President, there are thousands of Engineers like me in the Diaspora who are being discriminated by the Nigerian polity and if you do not want Nigeria to split, use all in your power to bring us into the system and we shall sustain the sovereignty of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. As I wrote earlier, I have the simple technological solution to the water problem in Africa; I can go into any village to any mud house to set up the system for the villagers. I am an African. I know how my people fetch the water they drink and how to make that water safer, the only raw material needed is salt and the water they now drink. An organic material that falls into it will be destroyed. These so called Foreign Investors that are uncontrollably being invited into Nigeria will on the long run be the agents of the split of Nigeria along their economic interest, they will demarcate Nigeria to suit themselves. Yesterday at the Africa Day Celebration in the Argentine Foreign Ministry, I had conversation with the Editor of The Buenos Aires Herald the most important English Speaking daily newspaper in Argentina during which I told him (he is British) that the so called Development Team for Africa set up by Tony Blair is a mockery based on the fact that it is headed by a non African musician that is far away from the realities of Africa. I added that you can not develop Africa without the Africans, if Tony Blair is serious, he must head the team by an African Engineer based in Britain because that Engineer can go into the jungle without problem. The exclusion of African Engineers with concrete solutions to African problems is tantamount to planting time bombs for Africans especially Nigerians.

  3. Social justice. The President must address the question of social justice if we want to succeed in sustaining Nigeria as one. Civilization is the absolute respect and maintenance of civil rights. Cicerone said “domicilum vastare, et civet comuni domus privare nefas est” which interpreted means, a devastated home, to bar a common citizen from his home is wrong. When Aldo Moro was kidnapped by the Red Brigade in Italy, the Italian government did not wage war on innocent people – that is a sign of civilization. When the IRA killed Lord Mountbatten with a bomb inside his boat, the British Army did not invade Ireland – that is civilization. Upon all the atrocities of ETA, the Spanish government did not invade the Basque country, in fact the Spanish Princess got married to a Basque – That is civilization. In Nigeria, because six policemen were killed in Odi, The gallant Federal Troops of Nigeria moved in to destroy a whole civilization of the village  of Odi. Some villagers in Delta State killed cows of Fulani which destroyed their crops; the gallant Federal Troops destroyed the village when the Fulanis reported to them because The Federal Troops is a property of the Hausa – Fulanis and once  you speak Hausa, you are a noble citizen of the Hausa Fulani Empire even if The President is a Yoruba. In civilization, CIDs would be sent into Odi all the time it takes, the citizens will on the long run cooperate when they understand that their individual right to life was respected and will give viable information that leads to the arrest and trial of those responsible. That is why it is said that The mill of justice runs slow but sure. Justice processes are slow because the right of the innocent is sacred. The villagers in the Delta state should have been taken to court and monetary compensation paid to the Fulani if it corresponds and life and property saved. These errors of process create holes that the enemies of African can exploit. Mr. President, you have history in your hand, correct these errors committed in this your administration and go cleanly into the history books.

  4. An economic process that involves all. The lack of inclusion of many in the economic process gave birth to a corrupt Police whose Capi Tutti Capi made away with the police fund. The police in desperation being wronged also resorted to doing wrong, when the police is immersed in wrong doing like in Nigeria today, our country’s security is vulnerable, the unity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is threatened if the common man can not feel safe near a policeman. This situation gave rise to the Bakassi Boy, OPC and many more uncountable. The only way to eliminate the need for Bakassi Boys, OPC etc is to get every inhabitant busy in the economic process including the police and security organizations, and this can never be achieved by the economic policy based on the agenda of The World Bank and IMF. Since the Wold Bank openly took control of the Nigerian Finance through Okonjo-Iweala, various Nigerian Embassies in the world have no fund to operate, many have not paid local staff salaries for more than six months just like what these two diabolic agencies did to Argentina few years behind. How can a country that is running for a permanent seat in the United Nations starves its embassies abroad that are supposed to campaign for the seat. This situation only creates channels for corruption in the Embassies, when a Nigerian goes for passport, they will say there is non, when a Nigerian needs an affidavits, they will say it is not possible etc. Mr. President remedy the points in this article and you will prevent the split of Nigeria.

  5. Industrialization based on Nigerians. For some years, Bellview, Okada, Kabo among others have proved that Nigerians even with errors can provide airlines services, these brains are the ones that the government need to study well and provide logistic for to provide a viable world class airlines for Nigeria instead of handing it over to foreigners. Those in authority are jealous of Nigerians of other tribes making headways and instead go in partnership with outsiders to compete with their own. We will succeed by joining hands to improve our own than competing with our own. A Nigeria from the eastern state developed a car that could have been the pride of Nigeria, five percent of the amount used to import foreign cars into Nigeria could have been used to help him build a world class car factory and many of us Engineers could relocate into the country to support him, but instead we compete with our own, because he is an Igbo man, then let him not grow. We Nigerians are the worst enemies of our own.  So many export abroad of our money weakens the nation and create loop holes for a possible split. Mr. President, to prevent Nigeria from splitting, we must involve all Nigerians in the industrial process.

  6. Abalaka was made to suffer so much that Britain carried him away with 20 of his immediate family to settle in Britain. Later the vaccine he develops will be tried on Nigerians as guinea pigs while some Nigerian Envoys abroad are carrying foreign pharmaceutical companies to Nigeria to sell drugs. A country that exports brains will never stand upright. Mr. President to prevent Nigeria from splitting, let us honour Nigerian brains and encourage them to stay by at least giving them loans to research in the country and reward those successful and rescue those who fails by adding brains to support them. If a Nigerian Engineer failed trying to manufacture a generator, support him with brains to correct his failure, the man of initiative is the owner of the initiative and the added brain must be rewarded accordingly as a professor, thus we encourage self and home made initiatives which form the road to progress.

Nigerians today can not boast of potable water even when there are rivers everywhere. No electricity in a country that is one of the largest oil producers in the world. No medical facility, no healthy environments, majority shit in the streets for dogs to eat. If this country refuses to employ his own engineers and charge them to create solutions, she is heading for doomsday.

There are many challenges facing our generation, Mr. President, take up the challenge! Produce the change that will prevent Nigeria from splitting. I on my part, I strongly and spiritually believe in one Nigeria.

La patrie u mort, nous vencerons.
