The Deposition of Jokolo

Now that Jokolo was removed, the fact is that is he has been removed not based on merit; the removal has political, personal and hatred inclination from Adamu Aliero. His government fail to convince us on the reality but only end up saying he is disobedient, recalcitrant and stupid about constituted authority are baseless and irrational, it also said Obasanjo has no hand in it [Daily Triumph 10th June 2005], which is lie. Anyway, his removal under whatever pretext is ill timed and an insult to the Muslim in totality. We are sure, besides other factors that work against Jokolo from Aliero; Obasanjo's factor is also considerable or weigh more since the stance of the deposed emir over confab representation.

We learnt that Aliero has been desperately looking for an excuse to remove Jokolo, then Obasanjo fall in with the same mission which he threaten to deal with Aliero should he refuse to deal with Jokolo or else face the music of the atrocities he has been committing and made them public. Aliero fear that, he act fast to protect his image by removing Jokolo against all the curse and disapproval he will get from the Muslim communities.

Jokolo now become a hero due to his retreat and support for the Muslim cause in the fight against Obasanjo's plan to marginalise Muslim in the country in all scheme of things similar to what happens to our Muslim brethren in Cameroon [despite their population which as at now are irrelevant in their country], this cause Jokolo to be in collision with Obasanjo.

Though the Emir is now our hero, we would not forget the role he played [when he was with them] in refusal to support Buhari in 2003 lection [do not tell me that emirs are apolitical, it is a lie, 90% of our emirs, Chiefs and Obas are PDP members]. He was among the first to visit Obasanjo after the controversial election despite misgiving about the visit among his subjects. He also spearheads the inclusion of president Obasanjo in the rehabilitation of National Mosque, Abuja an issue that observers believed to be purely Muslims Affairs. He championed the Obasanjo's government effort to win support of Muslims in the north against the gathering momentum on total detest of the polio vaccine then and many others which cost him a total dejection, curse and other unprintable words from the Muslim. That notwithstanding, his recent standing and being firm in championing the Muslim cause earn him the respect of all Muslim, hence we discarded our earlier position on him over his stance.

It is very unfortunate that despite the helping hand he extend in supporting Obasanjo and Aliero [against the wish of many Muslims], they are now fighting him over his standing against tyranny and divide and rule tactics of Obasanjo who did not conceal his desire to make Muslims irrelevant in all scheme of things and destroy their institution. It means that, Jokolo or any emir has no any right to stand by his people but only of that of the establishment whether or not it suit his people. By this we can deduce that other emirs should shut up [those that value their subjects], and the remaining, whom are the majority are already useless and unreliable, for they cannot do any thing or offer a word on national issue[s].

By removing Jokolo, it just a starting point by Obasanjo to finally nail the north, and precisely Muslims, having finished with them in civil service, Nigerian armies and it Para-military, federal institutions etc. What remain now is traditional rulers, whom despite their eroded image and non-challant attitudes toward protecting our religion, tradition and other rights still have enormous power in making sure things changes, yet you will hardly hear them utter a single word. Now the die is cast, which is the beginning of final annihilation of Muslims defenders within the remnants of the decadent traditional rulers we have. They have this plan, they have been to Cameroon and other two countries to study how Muslims were emasculated and made them irrelevant in all the socio-economic set up of their country, and the plan that Muslim should never rule Nigeria again and others which they want implement here in Nigeria.

It s also unfortunate, that if not SCSN, Gamji Memorial Association and others, neither JNI, NSCIA nor any traditional institution condemn the act, perhaps they are afraid if they talk in unison, they will face the same fate as Jokolo, which the way I see it is impossible. This is a signal to other emirs that they should regard Allah as their protector and the will of their people as their weapon without fear or favour, if not despite their being errand of Obasanjo, their days are numbered.

It is a shameful and regrettable that out present emirs cannot even face a goat in battlefield with stick, contrary to their fore fathers who fight and sacrifice their life toward a better, reliable and prosperous society that is equitable, just and egalitarian under Uthman Bn Fodio. As at now, due to their lust and desire for position and worldly materials they are a laughing stock and agent or servant of money and cheating, in fact they are even afraid to protect the religion they are pretending to be champion, talk less of their subjects, very unfortunate indeed! Even the last meeting on NPRC is initiated by the like of SCSN and others, the emirs just came in and fail to spearhead the struggle, only few emirs stand by truth, and now one of them has gone. It is time for we the Muslim to come together and fight our common enemy, these emirs are a great failures, our destiny is in the hand of Allah and ourselves, if we changed, Allah will change for us, if we refused to, then the travails, frustration, isolation and many more will a tip in ice berg.
