The Animal Called Man-2 By Ihas Idriess, A
I wish I could say all the things that I could, I wish I could say it all just the way it is , I wish I could be heard by all, I wish I could break all the chains holding this country down, I wish I could free it from the vampires sucking its blood, I wish this world is devoid of the animals like Man-2, Tony Aninieh, the belle face Ojo Madueke, I wish I do not have to share generation with all the proponent of the third term agenda, both hidden and those who have the guts to daily bombard us with why Obasanjo should continue, I wish I don’t have to share this world with the likes of the NANS president who vow to get six million signatures that will endorse Obasanjo to continue who is nothing but disgrace to student unionism.
Those who follow my writings in some of the national dailies and on most Nigerian websites know that if there is one thing I hate and avoid by all means is to write on personalities and personal issues, I do not attack people personal life for whatever reason, so today won’t be exceptional, but having said the above I do not mean that I will not talk on the animal called Man-2 and his personal life. I love writing, I love expressing my own views on national issues, no matters whose ox is gored, I love freedom and I practice it with so much humility and respect.
Under normal circumstances, nobody will take the like of Man-2 seriously, the man lacks charisma so much that am sure today the other animals in the jungle are laughing at us for giving him such high position in the land, physically Man-2 looks at all the time like a drunkard, from his bulging watery eyes, to his Michelin tires lips; Man-2 strikes one more like a drunkard coming out of a ‘shabin’ than a distinguish senator of the Land.
It is a public knowledge that Senator Man-2 is myopic, sycophantic, corrupt and greedy who can comfortably sell the worm that habour him for the first 9months of his life, if the price is right, politically he is a non entity, his political life strive only on corruption as he is all the time involve in one allegation of corrupt practices to another, everybody will remember him as the arrow head in the saga involving the duo of him and Zwingina in which El-Rufai accused them demanding N54million to ensure his hitch free ride to the FCT Ministers office, the only time Man-2 spoke the truth in his life as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was when he was asked by the Committee set up to investigate the allegation to swear by the Holy Qur’an and he decline with the reason that he is not pure, at that time a lot of Nigerians wonder how long will it take Man-2 to perform ablution, but to those who can read between the lines it simply means the distinguish???? Senator was telling us he had an elicit affair not long and could not perform the obligatory bath (Janaba).
Man -2 was also recently accused by his Governor of collecting N10mil from his State Ecological Funds, without an iota of decency Man-2 when on the offensive denying and castigating the Governor for saying it the way it is. Now Man-2 is in the news again for all the wrong reasons, as usual, but only now with much dangerous antecedence that have the repercussion of throwing this country to abyss of a protracted crisis that will destroy the fabric that the country is build on. In all these actions and in actions Man-2 continue to feature prominently and is all the time being fingered as the man behind the mask, it was reliably gathered that during the Port Harcourt retreat Senator Man-2 with each of his members received a whooping US$37, 000 as kickbacks, while additional 20million was given per committee members as their share. Man-2 though claimed to be a Muslim, was indicted by the House Committee on Foreign affairs for illegally enriching himself from the monies paid by innocent pilgrims, (Wa iyazu billah), never was any Amirul Hajj in the country being accused of such level of decadence.
Although, I have next to nothing believe in Ribadu and his EFCC; for so many reasons including his failure to even name and shame some of the big fish thieves in his and my state of origin, he also seem to look the other way as his kid brother Chairman’s colossal misuse of funds in his and my local government,(this is although another subject for another day) Not withstanding, I hope he will surprise and many Nigerians by swooping on Man-2 and his co-conspirators, at least on Hajj affair which was declared my Man-2 himself as the worst in the history of this nation. Failure to do so will prove me and many like me right, that EFCC is just a witch-hunting agencies created by Obasanjo with the main objective of smoothing the return of Obasanjo come 2007.
Although everything is possible in Nigeria, but it irks me no end that man of Man-2 caliber and antecedence is our Deputy Senate President and now who is out to destroy this country, yet he is allowed to carry on un-hindered. Beyond all these, my only appeal to Nigerians should be to be battle ready, be steadfast in our resolve to fight Obasanjo and his chorus boys led by the Animal called Man-2 to a stand still and save over mother land. As General Obasanjo gear himself to die in power, and his National Assembly Joint Committee on the Review of 1999 constitution I urge all Nigerians to be ready to help usher them to the life beyond by all means necessary. When an Animal misbehaves what do you do? Slaughter it or Kill it!
