I have always defended women because i am passionate about mothers, but the recent madam speaker action of reckless abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds in less than 100 days of assuming the leadership of House of Representatives is reprehensible. This story is not worth saying much on, I know its going to happen. When people are not democratically elected into the house leadership, this is bound to happen. They will never owe any allegiance to the house or the nation they are expected to serve, but only to themselves and their pockets, and sometimes their impostors. This woman apply some Nigerian leaders theory of chop anything chopable before they remove you and after that you will be given a chieftaincy title or honorary degree by Obas and higher institutions respectively. How can a country with so much resourceful men and women always waste so much time talking on how much their leaders steal every day. And the most painful part of it people that are passing the law are the one’s mostly involve in such scandals. Since both the senate and house members were sworn in, they‘ve not passed a single bill into law, all they‘ve done is to fight for positions by any means. How on earth can we trust their judgments when it comes to the future of our republic? I am starting to lose confidence in our country’s leadership.

The renovation of speaker’s house even at N232 million as they claimed is outrageous. Is it not the same house which Hon. Masari lived with his family comfortable and vacated just three month, after to be renovated by a woman at a cost of N232 million. It is obvious that the country is governed by selfish minded people. Fellow Nigerians for how long are we going to continue like this yesterday better than tomorrow.

Every body comes in, and the only way they can steal is to renovate anything that can be renovated, and one will surprise to see that the so called renovation might not be more than white washing paint and cutting grasses.

This country is gone, even if it is N232 million they said she used, is it the reason you call it only. Do you know how many mansions this money can build? And you open your mouth to say it just for renovation. If Mrs. Speaker has personal money of such do you know how many houses it can build for you? And how much did she use to renovate her house when she was not a speaker? If such money is used for renovation, how much will it cost them to build another structure of the same category for her? And how much will our president use in renovating Aso rock? You have a lot of question to answer, at the time when the nation loud to prosecute corrupt leaders.

When Nigerians are not allowed to vote for their preferred candidate this is what happens, in a country where 60% of its population can’t afford three square meals a day, and she is calling N232million as she claimed just. What a shame, a lot of Nigerians die of simple malaria because they don’t have money to go to hospital, while she is milky the country dry. Our leaders do not learn from history.

Imaging if this amount of money was channeled to repairing one of the major road in Nigeria, replacing some decayed transformers or settle pensioners that serve our father land when they are dying of hungers.

I am sure Mrs. Speaker is not ready to alleviate the suffering of the general masses, but she is the type looking for great name when they contributed nothing to the life of Nigerians. While, the truth will surely be laid bare one day come sun come rain. The house should brace up and find a way to deal with the embracing situation and then forge a head. But this is a lesson to PDP. Rigging elective offices will always be retrogressive no matter how much we pretend to see it. So please national interest first, this is a serious issue. I don’t want to PDP members to view it as hand work of opposition party; this is real, investigate and pass judgments accordingly.
