Death Squad Strikes At Songai NIPSS Kuru

NIPSS Kuru is where senior elite officers of the Federal Republic of Songai are trained in preparation for higher callings. One of the senior officers Rev. Udabir was mercilessly attacked by fiercely looking firing squad today and almost made it to that higher calling. But miraculously he is still alive and breathing with the help of a respirator as he was rushed to Songai National Hospital in the capital of the Country. All efforts are being made to transfer him abroad to the best hospital in the world in the Republic of Benin.

The President of Songai, Sir Babagoslow has sworn that the death squad will be fished out if Rev. Udabir dies as a result of this cowardly act by irresponsible elements in the society. As a result, he has dispatched one of his most able men General Iyangida to bring the head of this Squad to him for due process. As of the time of this writing, the leader of the squad Akmid has escaped after claiming responsibility at the SBC, Songai Broadcasting Corporation. The strongman of Nadabi politics who Rev. Udabir had once criticized as lawless at Nadabi University has been contracted to hunt Akmid down. As a pilgrim to Taliban regime in Afghanistan when two 1,600-year-old Buddha statues lining Bamiyan Valley were destroyed, the strongman is well suited.

The people of Songai are in shock at this development. While the Country was divided on the selective or what some people see as unbalance investigation of the corrupt former Chief of Police, former Governors, children of the high and mighty including that of a former Head of State, majority of the good people of Songai condemned this brutal attempted murder. Many people including family members, Gov. Ulak and Irobi had warned Rev. Udabir of his dangerous audacity, publicity and self righteousness in the hot pursuit of sacred cows in Songai because other sacred cows were still untouched. Indeed, it is dangerous to investigate any sacred cow in Songai without offending men of “timber and caliber”.

The Country is divided into many ethnic groups and this can easily be used to divide them further. At a point in time, Southerners were yelling that all those investigated were sacred cows in the South. Recently it is the Northerners that were crying foul. Moreover, the fact that Rev. Udabir is a Christian has not helped matters among the predominantly Moslem South. The fact that he has taken up a sacred cow from his own Christian State has not made any difference, as this was seen as a ploy to distract them.

It is still unclear at this moment how the death-squad infiltrated the highly secured green zone area of Kuru where highly competent managers are trained to raise skill standard above that of any Country at NIPSS, National Institute for Piss of Shit Studies. The area was well fortified with joint task force made up of police, army and foreign mercenaries to please those who had complained earlier that Rev. Udabir was given a death sentence. The President, Sir Babagoslow feels betrayed and during his visit to the relatives of Rev. Udabir, cursed the professional assassins in words never heard since the former President lost one of his aspiring gubernatorial candidates. He does not want to be seen like the former President, a notable born again Christian from the waist up, who lost many of the most prominent people in the Country without solving the puzzle.

Actually, the Chief of Police then disputed that none of the murders were solved. The fact that the prosecution lost the cases did not mean they did not find the killer of Songai former Attorney General. The main suspect later became a Federal Senator without campaigning. So credit must be given where it is due and blame placed in the right places. Songai has one of the finest police force in the world. In fairness to the Police, they have never seen the type of peace the Country now enjoys. Unlike sophisticated governors who stole billions without violence, dumb and naive 785 suspected armed robbers were killed in 90 days over smaller amount without due process; and the majority of the people in jail have spent more than their time waiting for trial. With that many vagabonds kept off the street, Songai has been peaceful until this incident of Rev. Udabir.

The Attorney General has assured the people of Songai that foreign police will be invited to assist with the investigation. The Pluta Government has been contacted to dispatch the best brains in their Police Force to come to Songai to assist in this investigation. One of Pluta’s intelligence scientists, Professor Watson has just discovered a method by which police can translate brain impression into picture just before a crime is committed and can also read the picture of the death-quad from Rev. Udabir’s brain in critical condition or in death. So the Government is determined to solve this cowardly act.

It is still not clear how innocent Rev. Udabir is himself. Unless this attack on him becomes fatal, some segment of the Government thinks he is trying to blackmail the Presidency. And if he dies, they may claim that it was Russian roulette gone awry. How he became a reverend father in the first place is still unclear. It has been speculated that he owns mansions and women all over the world. Others claim they have pictures of him and his women in compromising positions. In fairness to him, he has denied all this. But fraudsters and looters he had prosecuted claimed he took large amount of bribes from them only to keep the money in Mors, another foreign country before turning them in. In boxing it is called body blows before nailing the head.

His family was forced to come out and defend him that he is a man of God who has shaken the hands of the Pope, the Holy Father. Speculation is rife that their father was not even from Songai. He was smuggled into the Country from a border town before he established himself and his family. So he may not have any right in Songai after all and all his convictions of crooks and looters may become null and void under due process. The Federal Republic of Songai value due process than any Country in the world and no matter what, will not compromise the rule of law or due process. Many of the law professors in the Country have been invited by different international organizations to lecture them on Songai unique due process.

Some of Rev. Udabir idle supporters are now questioning why he was sent to Kuru for a course in the first place when he was doing a good job at the beginning of his new term. What many of them do not realize is that Songai is blessed with dedicated men and women who have proved their worth in the past, so Rev. Udabir was not indispensable. Before him were dedicated people who had prosecuted rogues and after him will be world class crime busters who will show better zeal modeled to that of America and China. So why personalize such an office as if the Country leaders lack morals or leaders are convenient crooks?

Moreover, this training at Kuru is to prepare Rev. Udabir to lead his chosen profession. It is a reward in recognition of the good job investigating those who sponsored rigged elections and tried to set Songai back into the Stone Age. The problem with some of these hired critics that have been compromised is that no matter what is done with good intention, these cynics will find faults. The Rev. himself had come out to express his confidence in the leaderships leaving everything to God. What is wrong with compensating such a good civil servant?

In the meantime, Kuru security has been upgraded with ethnic militants from different parts of the Country so that the remaining officers can continue their courses in a crime free environment to be able to serve the Republic of Songai in higher capacity and take the Country to higher heights. The courses taken at NIPSS have been recognized by all the international organizations and universities. It is the reason there are always waiting lists for admission by members of the civilized world, for which Songai is highly respected. A beg make I hear word!
