Sir Bill Gates, Please Include Spinal-Bifida In The Polio Eradication

It is heartwarming to receive help from friends and well wishers who noticed your predicament and offered a solution; just like what Bill Gate has done making this grand offer of N7.5bn assistance for Nigerians to cure Polio ailment. It is my hope the August visitor will read this piece of information while in Nigeria but it matters not if he comes across it anytime from now because globalization and information high way has made it possible for material of this nature follow him anywhere.

Bill Gate is an important personality in the world because he has change the world for the better more than any scientists we have known in our generation and whether it is officially stated or not his ingenuity has given him high regard not just in America but everywhere in the world which, he has partaken to make easier for mankind to live in it through globalization as understood by and large to be the main objective of Bill Gates Microsoft.

This therefore has earned for Bill Gates an exceptional recognition and admiration amongst all nationals in the world especially those learned in Computing. We too here in Nigeria we are overwhelmingly happy to see Bill Gates in our local TV screen or catch a glimpse of him or even meet him in person.

This visit will give both the guest and the host opportunity to discuss issues relating to high level computing with the hope of receiving solution from the right source (master-minder) not just Polio eradication matters as their are too numerous sizzling health issues that requires the attention of the reigning genius.

Bill Gate sir, let me put it to you this way, “with my little computer knowledge, if Polio is the High Level Language, is obvious that Spina-bifida is absolutely the Fourth Generation Language.” Those diseases are both affecting children at birth but there is a wide array of inconveniences to the family of Spina-bifida patients, in the aspect of surgeries and management is more than ten-fold.

Right now I have an Eight years old Daughter who is suffering from the Spina-bifida disease. We have been referred to see a Neurosurgeon at AKTH, Kano. Who again asked me to go to Zaria for MRI test which I obtained some three months ago but I could not submit the report to the Doctor at the appropriate time because of financial constraints. Until recently through the benevolence of friends I was able to convey the Child to AKTH, Kano again but it wasn’t the clinical Day (against the Schedule).

Now I must take the child to UDUTH, Sokoto to meet the Neurosurgeons because her health condition has worsened to the extent her Buttock has decayed due to uncontrollable urine soiling, the condition have now reached a point whereby even I ( the Father of child) can hardly look at the devastated area of her body but the mother bath her everyday and cleans the wounds with cotton and covered it with another cotton until when the girl cry again indicating the urine is itching her wounds, the mother will immediately replace the cotton with a fresh one, that has been the daily routine for the past four months.

The misfortune is just too much for less privileged who cannot afford to pay for their medical bills and even those who can are not cured because of too many mysterious diseases in the country such as Liver, kidney diseases, HIV/AIDS, etc; typhoid and malaria is to be classified a child play. I believe myself and my family is not the only victim of mysterious diseases which requires the honest and competence first-class genius attention of which Sir Bill Gate is endowed with capacity to occupy this position in the New world order.

“Sir, you are the NUMBER ONE SYSTEM PROGRAMMER AND BY INFERENCE NUMBER ONE SCIENTIST, we beg you to program solution to our medical tragedy the health of Nigerians are in threat of total extermination that can be compared with the Titanic Ship but the only difference is that there was no genius like Bill Gates who could have reached the vista before its final drawn. Our Health Ship is also in critical drowning stage; the genius of our time, Sir Bill Gate can make the distinction, expectantly.”

People who are not victim of ailments cannot describe the trauma but those who are directly involved and if no help come both Doctors and Patients will loose psyche and the problem will continue to become multifarious.

According to MIS (see I’m Bill Gates student that is why I’m one of those who honor him with reverence), “if one part of the system deteriorates other part will also collapse, the medical facilities and expertise available in the country are over stretched therefore diseases prevalence is formidable and atrocious. “If that was, what Prof. Wale Soyinka had meant by referring to our generation as wasted, he is absolutely right.”

I’m not just appealing to Bill Gates for my Daughter and the Spina-bifida patients in general but also soliciting on behalf of victims of other most Calamitous diseases of the Liver, kidney and HIV/AIDS, etc. it appears there are diseases currently ravaging people in Nigeria that is somewhat or certainly a peculiarity, people are dying in this Country more than war-turn Palestine, Afghanistan or Iraq.

This being our unfortunate situation, Sir Bill Gates age mates and his seniorsin this Country had spent their lives-time treating various ailments without success, some are already in their graves, some are dragging their sunken eyes bodies accompanied by repulsive halitosis(social melancholy); our situation here is precarious and all this was caused by diseases.

When will solution come, will Sir Bill Gates our Science and Technology Giant also shy away and leave us in the doldrums, like the multitudes of the mediocres we have seen coming and going out of Nigeria?

Sir Bill Gates, in order for you to grasp the picture of deplorable health conditions in Nigeria kindly take part of your humanitarian gesture tour to visit some of our University Teaching Hospitals for you to see Consultants, Patients, equipment then you can ascertain the level of our helplessness; I’m trying to portray. I implore you sir to as a matter of humanitarian gesture put your inventiveness to save from shackle of diseases and death people who share your aspiration everyday by using MICROSOFT APPLICATION PACKAGES to perform personal, collective and organizational functions.

I represents the patients whose only resources at disposal is HOPE and the only thing we have to share with you right now. Therefore, Sir Bill Gates we are HOPING for you to have an exciting memorable occasion during your home visit to Nigeria because Microsoft has come to stay with Nigerians.
