“Societies which are not armed with
weapon of good manners are not ruled by worthy rulers and do not, in
fact, deserve to live as human body. It is for this reason that the
destruction of previous great civilization did not take place because
of political or economic crisis but from a bankruptcy of good manners”
Musawi Lari
The Nigerian nation is fast derailing
from the part of morality and development. Every day the news coming
out as a result of action and inaction of its leaders is not
encouraging at all. It’s always like one step forward and twenty steps
backward. What is really happening to this country? Has God forsaken
us or we have forsaken ourselves as people and a nation.
On Wednesday March 12-2009 the whole
nation wake us with the bad news that some social miscreants, who
called themselves gays, had demonstrating at the venue of joint
public hearing organized by the House Representative committee on
Human Right, Women Affair and Justice in National Assembly against a
bill that will be presented before the house outlawing same sex
marriage. This agents of Lucifer organized themselves under an odd
name called Queen Alliances to challenge the propose bill. According
to the spoke person of the group who argued that; “homesexuality which
is a private decision does not in any way impinge on the right of
others”. This is rather a stupid statement coming from this misguided
miscreant. How can he even there voice out such a polluted statement.
Democracy is not madness; nor is it about social backwardness. The
essence of freedom is to guide man to choose among variables what is
right for the society and discard what may be of injuries to
collective destinies of the rest of the nation.
When I first had the news i quickly pray
for this nation and seek God’s mercy; because I believe we have over
step our boundaries as human and servant of the Holy Being; the best
species ever to be created on the surface of the earth.. Today column
is not about summons but of outright condemnation of this show of
absurdity by these agents of Lucifer and the group they represent.
The question we may ask our National
Assembly members is; is this deliberate action or a conspiracy against
the collective social and religious will of this country? I believe
they are better bills to be presented in the House; which call for
urgent attention than wasting their precious time deliberating on
something that is just hearsay. Since the issues of homosexuals became
an issues in this country, they was never a time these group have the
opportunity and audacity, to come out in the open to abused our
collective intelligence than this moment. If the National Assembly did
not provide the platform for this mess, I don’t believe these
misguided miscreants would have had the opportunity and boldness to
face Nigerian public to demand for this so-called obnoxious right.
I really cannot denies the fact that
Gays, have infiltrated the Nigerian society, but the issues is that
they were not bold enough to make there impact felt like the show of
absurdity that happen last month. Both the two Religion has prohibited
homosexual’s behaviours as ungodly and very sinful in the sight of God
Almighty. The growing rate of homosexuals’ activity in our society
called for sober reflection among the stakeholders in our society.
There is need to rise up against this social menace that is about to
ravage the destiny of our younger generation. the society need to be
at the watch look to expose all those that are perpetrating this act
no matter how powerful they are whether in or out of government.
In an investigation I undertook before
writing this column, I was told that the major reason why some people
goes into this act of social mischief is purely to acquire power and
social status in the society. It is generally believe homesexualism is
a new ritual that enables politicians, public office holders, and
traditional rulers to control and determines happening around them.
The sources concluded that most of our so-called leaders from the
political office holders, civil servants, traditional rulers and even
some religious leaders are into this ungodly act. Hmmm! If this is
true then we are finish as a nation; if men and women that control our
collective destinies are nothing but ungodly and sinful followers of
homosexuals, then God have mercy on this nation. I believe both the
Muslims and the Christians knew the story of the people of Lot (AS)
who were destroyed by God Almighty as results of Sodomy.
Today is very hard to find favour in
this country if you are not ready to compromise your God giving body.
I knew some people are not happy over today’s disclosure but I believe
it is time to come out from this social pretentiousness into the world
of reality. Yes! Homesexualism is right in our door steps and the
major culprits are our leaders in all aspects of life and their
business associates. If the society decides to shy away form this
social menace the more the disease will continue to eat us more. I
remembers in the 1990s it use to be an abomination for a girl to have
a child out of wedlock. The stigmatization the family would undergo
only left a bite taste and scare on the reputation of the family. But
what is happening today is general reversal of the morality of the
1990s; as parent not only accept and harbour their children and the
unwanted pregnancy but also sometime encourage their children to go
into all kind of illicit sexual orientation in order to make a living.
And the society is silent about this moral decadent; leading to
various unwanted babies parading the length and breath of this nation.
What a pity!
If we don’t rise us to the challenges of
ensuring that our society is clean from this glooming crisis where
various social, spiritual and moral miscreants are about destroying
the fabrics of the Nigerian state. We don’t really need to wait for
the National Assembly to pass any law against these social menaces,
let take the destiny of this great nation in our hands by identifying
who are this individuals and their organization and begin to attack
and destroy their infrastructure wherever it is in existence. How are
we sure that the so called legislatures that we are waiting for have
not compromised or are also of the same leagues with these disgruntle
groups of miscreants that just visited our farmland. If not why are
they dragging there fits on the issues?
Moreover, even the so called immoral
societies of Europe and America where this shameless groups are trying
to copy from, homosexualism is still seen as a social aberration and
most of these country have outlaw it in their constitution. This is
case for nations that are not known with any standard cultural
heritages. The Nigerian society has its own culture and in all the
cultures I knew there is none that harbour this behaviour. We have a
very rich cultural heritage so we shouldn’t allow some few corrupt
desires to destroy what took us centuries to build.
My advice to parent is always to be at a
look out for any change in their children behaviours; because they are
the easy targets of these miscreants. They lour them with money, cars,
and all kind of incentives to convince them into this unholy
partnership. Whenever you experience your child living above his means
always called him and inquire about his source of wealth. Don’t just
conclude that God has answer your prayers that your son or daughter is
a millioners; because they more to those millions beneath the eyes.
Parent have the responsibilities to know what there children are up to
and the kind of business or work they do in other not to fall prey for
this unholy act of social misdemeanours.
God bless Nigeria and protect us from
the evil mechanization of these forces of evils and darkness Amin.
