Demonstration Of Unalloyed Craziness

One is completely at a loss as one ponders over why the Aondoakaa of this world would continue to insult the collective sensibility of Nigerians. Can someone call Aondoakaa to order? His desperation has made him interpret the Nigerian constitution to serve his purpose. By virtue of the court ruling which empowered the VP to exercise the functions of the president in his absence, has the Nigeria bar association actually checked and confirmed that Mr. Aondoakaa really read law and actually graduated even with a pass? This man is a disgrace to this enviable and noble profession. He cannot be a role model to even a lunatic. A man that shamelessly and openly speaks from both sides of the mouth and who assumes that all Nigerians are not only foolish but also have short memories like him, should not be taken seriously. I think he is the worst Attorney General we’ve ever had. He is a disgrace to the legal profession and I’m very ashamed of him. But of course you cannot blame him much he is a cockroach among fowls. How can an executive council made up of Technocrat which constitutes lawyers, engineers, pharmacists, and agriculturists and so on, give the President a clean bill of health? How can they be so openly fraudulent? And it is the same thing how do I keep my job? If Goodluck is made Acting President how am I sure he will retain me? Of course, that is the bane of Nigeria that is what has destroyed the country. People in public office think of their own interest at the expense of national interest.

My observation is that they reacted in a manner not to lose their jobs. One should say that the President is incapable to perform. It means that they as ministers will lose their seats. So, they want to preserve their office. It is not the incapability of the President that is the issue per say but it is the unavailability of the President. He has to be available for the issue of incapability to be determined, because there is a difference between incapability and unavailability. When a person is unavailable, it means that the person is nowhere to be found and for the length of period which he has been unavailable. I was not disappointed by the resolution passed by members of the Executive Council of the Federation declaring President Umar Yar’Adua fit to continue governance. In the first place, the council of ministers which passed the resolution never had any information on the health status of the president in view of the fact that none of them had either seen him or has access to his medical record.

Today, Aondoakaa is announcing a cabinet decision against the rest of us; tomorrow Ojo Maduekwe is fooling himself in London and New York. The day to come, Yar'Adua is about to be flown home to continue the ramshackle of governance and so on and on we go. Next tomorrow Ambassador will tell you he is watching football and ask of Tuwo. We have tired of toying with the destinies of over 130 million people. The Legislature is comatose as the executive is manipulative. Really the executives are mismanaging information. I think there is a need for all the executives to go back for a refresher course especially on information management. There is nothing wrong for a president as a human to be indisposed, but there must to be information on daily basis on how he is recuperating, this will even bring sympathy among Nigerians to keep praying for his quick recovery. But in a situation where by the entire executives are guessing about the state of the president is pathetic, no one among them will tell the true picture about the scene. But keeping silent is what bring the entire rumor about the president health condition and is the main causative agent of this present situation in Nigeria. Really the executives need to be enlightened particularly on how to manage information.

The intervention of the Eminent Leaders Group couldn't have come at a better time. The few that found themselves in the corridors of power in Nigeria are supper-self-centered. I have not been able to decipher the reason why they have out of shear stupidity and myopism bottled the future and destiny of this Great Nation all this far. They have slaughtered the barest element of citizenship which is patriotism in the altar of political preservation and protectionalism. I just believed that the National Assembly will do the right thing and not to be misguided any further by those opportunist that have been stalemating the destiny and future of this country. I believe also that the National Assembly has received the necessary teeth they have been waiting for to do the right thing.

Nigerians are waiting to see if the Aondoaakas, the Marks and the Bankoles will see reason to hearken to the words of wisdom before it becomes too late. Obviously Mr. President is not involved in this power play that can be ruinous to all that has been achieved politically so far. It is only in this country that a group of people selected to serve the Nigerian nation will choose to play the fiddle while the country is on the verge of burning.

These immature politicians and opportunists called ministers believe more in their political security and comfort than that of the nation. A man who is struggling for his life is hardly bothered by political power so let these selfish politicians toe the path of honour.

Many of them may not be around if they stand on the way of peaceful change. The wrath of the people can be greater than that of any military. If they believe that they have emasculated the military what about the people's might?
Any way
when you have those that are meant to be in Prisons Ruling the country what do you expect?
