Dogs Eat Dogs Hijack Mend & Boko Haram Mercenaries

Political power is being hijacked from responsible individuals that followed due process, worked hard, got educated, and paid their dues; by drug dealers, militias, religious fanatics, old sailors never die reactionaries and loafers. They cry democracy the loudest when it favors them but abuse human right and press freedom once in power. Even the dictators on public dole all their lives that were never elected claimed experience in a civilian setting demanding the rule of law according to zones, their only qualification.

Many are still aware of the press running from one house to another just to print facts. They could not print Police renting arms to these robbers. We need not be surprised at the sale of weapon to MEND by the Army. They deployed soldiers to the Airport without the approval of the Commander-In-Chief in the midnight. Make a choice between abuse by liable internet or press and vultures’ human right abuses without liability or recourse.

The gripe in the Country is unequal distribution of wealth by scary old men hanging on and exchanging power within officers’ mess. There is a difference between cultured politicians’ campaign struggle for power and unlettered thugs in agbada’s do or die. If MEND or Boko Haram seized power like them in Bornu, Yenagoa, Abia, Ibadan or Abuja; they would scatter one another’s brain by self acclaimed leaders’ divide and rule tactics.

We cannot leave government in care of uninformed and expect accountability or result. They said Biafrans could not be trusted yesterday, NADECO cannot be trusted today and it is the members of MEND that cannot be trusted with power tomorrow. They can lump all the members of MEND, Boko Haram, NADECO or Biafra as they want, as long as none get the Presidency. We are all traitors except our backyard that smell of black gold.

We have been warned, times without number, that our zonal champions are the faces behind most of the religious and ethnic riots in Nigeria. Since we cannot get to the root causes of these riots, they are growing in intensity and impunity. Zone-zone leaders are hijacking militia causes, no matter how righteous and tailoring them into their ambitions to rule the Country. There are some unholy infiltrations going on in case they fail to win the election to scare the polity into their wishful zone made up of only Me, Myself and I.

The zones they are representing, enriching, fueling and protecting are mercenaries in the name of deprivation, religious and marginalization tags that unleash mayhem on their own people. They want Presidency by any means like fire fighters forcedly retired staging arson to get back on the job. There is no zone or people in Nigeria’s North or South that elect leaders who leave them in abject poverty. It is a misplaced anger to blame any zone they claim they represent for their atrocities on all of us.

We cannot be fooled into some opportunists’ belief that they are denied a zoning right when they have no people in the zone to represent. They claim that Presidency was zoned to OBJ in 1999 but that zone had no people that voted for him. Adamu Ciroma could not deliver his ward to PDP lately. Andy Uba that could not deliver in Anambra became a champion of that zone. Similarly, those hanging on to zone today have either abused it or have never been voted for, except pass Presidency to one another’s zones.

Believe it or not, the thugs are playing into their hands as mercenaries for hire to the highest bidder. Shell Oil funded the report of UN Environment Programm UNEP, blaming 90 per cent of oil spills in Ogoniland on sabotage and criminal activities on the victims of Niger Delta is a salvo of more to come to avoid local or international blame. It will be supported by zonal champions as a reason anyone from there can’t become a President.

MEND has reduced itself completely to a band of mercenaries willing to destroy anyone at the right price. This is a militia organization that used to enjoy the sympathy of most Nigerians where other militias failed. Market women to intellectuals echoed their cause, warning the rest of us to heed their calls or face disaster. We got more. They went after the weak and the old, women and children within their own communities and become rich; their lack of education, communication skills and crude behavior notwithstanding.

The Hungarian plane stopover for refueling in Abuja to deliver weapons to Equatorial Guinea in June 2009, the disputed recipients since July 2010 of imported weapons into the Country and the bomb blast at Abuja are signs of international mayhem to come as promised by men that should have been locked up instead of prowling freely on the life, rights and liberty of law abiding citizens. They began as drug clearing agents before they were turned into mules and drug barons. Next is arms smuggling conference in Nigeria.

The involvement of Iran, Israel, Al Qaeda, India and Niger in the importation of these weapons of mass destruction, if delivered to either MEND or Boko Haram could overwhelm the Police Force to the point of involving the Army. We must be vigilant and note that we are no longer dealing with local grass root discontent. Since they got one of our sons as underwear bomber, there are unscrupulous stake holders with unlimited resources ready to slide into our religious or ethnic fracture, so they can have their way.

The history of these suppliers of weapons for destabilization of Lebanon is still fresh in our memory. Some of them were supplying Christians while the others were supplying Muslims militias all in the name of God when in fact they wanted political and economic control as Lebanon burned into ashes. If Lebanon had to do it all over again, they could have blocked the veil supporters of one religion against another rather than submit their political or economic independence. The militias were better equipped than their Army.

Boko Haram demands equal reward from Sultan Ebele; he works either for or against Niger Delta and must be impeached before arsonists set us on fire that only zonal icons can help put out. Their zone is made up of only mercenaries stupid and selfish enough to sell their souls in MEND, Boko Haram, OPC, MASSOB etc. We can taste disaster, anarchy and guerrilla tactics already before a full blown civil war to be provoked by the overreaching old men that have almost exhausted their useful lives on earth.
