A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life. Muhammed Ali What really has changed, this is a question I often ask when the discuss is Nigeria, as we grow, albeit in a retarded manner I ask again what have we learnt. On last night I listened to Wole Soyinka add his voice to the call for Etteh to go, but Etteh has refused to go. Everybody has called on her to go but she thinks otherwise, its good to see that she believes that the majority maybe wrong Without courting controversy maybe Etteh should stay after all. This Woman was the same woman that as Speaker told a group that "don't worry the House would appropriate monies for the rehabilitation of the Benin-Ore road to make it HABITABLE". She equally informed the house on the need to APPROPRIATE money for the repair of the RUNAWAY of the airports in Kaduna and Lagos.

She wished the dead body of Evans another death, common what are we talking about, why are we crying wolf? Are we not the same people that celebrated an unknown quantity only months back, saying it was the best thing to happen to Nigeria, we called it a record, we said it was a gender thing. She was hailed everything and in the real sense nothing.

On the many occasions she spoke, one could hear what the Yorubas call an "olodo". Etteh should stay, the house foisted her on itself in the name of consensus, let us enjoy the census of poor minds. Etteh should stay, she has been in the house three terms and for a nation whose people hardly ask any question. It was not strange that a three time 'HONOURABLE' member that had not contributed any meaningful argument other than nay and yeah to the floor was nominated up and indeed won.

Let Etteh stay, I insist she stays, she was and is PDP's candidate and I do not know why this cannot be treated simply as the regular 'family affair'. If it was AC that brought her to the House things by this time would have been different.

Let me ask this sarcastic question, how does Mr. Etteh feel right now, what would be going through his mind.

Is it true that Mr. Etteh is even an architect that should have known better. Speaking with Jeremiah Useni, the Jerry Boy General fame of Abuja, he said that the same house in question was barely N6M in worth with all the renovation and what not. Well maybe that was Useni and Abacha era when apples from India were equally cheap, factor in inflation and appreciation of the same property and we get N623M...Nigerian mathematics.

Is Etteh as intelligent as Professor Jadesola, haba...Charlie that is not fair, okay! She must be as good as Dora...no oooh that one na professor too. She then must have the guts of a Oby, Iweala...a sad capital NO. She has neither the guts, the looks, the semblance of any level of intellectual capacity to lead the House of Representative, yet she maneuvered and got there. And we want to chase her out, wrong, I think she should stay.

Madam Etteh in the words of late Okadigbo doyen of anticipatory approval and sallah rams must have had so much political sagacity. Etteh is the function of political geometry. We cannot feign ignorance now, that we did not know. She should stay shikena.

Did we not know, if it had to be a woman, would Abike Dabiri have renovated like Etteh? What are we not saying, are we ignorant of the pecks, goodies, sweeties of that office, if a mere renovation was N400M short of a billion, what more could have come in four years of Etteh's Speakership.

I in a recent essay with despise say that her behaviour was akin to a hairdresser that she was but with apologies I add further exposition to the word madam Speaker and tell us what that title madam or madame depicts. Etteh is the madam of this situation, her press aides had only last week insist that, it was those that hate her on the prowl. I wonder 'wetin' she do wey people hate her. They say it was her qualifications next, common what next are we going to be told as D-Day arrives for Etteh.

I have watched with utter disgust as some one way Alabis in the name of South-West something something come to her rescue...reason she is Yoruba and so should not be thrown out. Look I think this madam should stay.

She should stay because, her title madam is used to address or refer to a woman in a polite or respectful way : like 'can I help you, madam?' . She needs to stay and get all the help, after all PDP helps its own. Madam is used to address a woman at the start of a formal or business letter: For example, Dear Madam, …The renovation would take about N600M, do it, don't worry we would be there for you. Signed Powers that be.

Madam is used before a title to address or refer to a female holder of a position : Madam President. Madam Speaker, Madam Etteh. It sounds so nice and almost like she was cut out for it, so please let us allow her stay. A woman who runs a brothel is equally a Madam. As the House resumes business and tackles the issue, the decision the do not take or that which they take would determine if we have a House or a brothel. We are waiting to see how it all plays out. She may as well stay, stay because we do not learn, because we strongly desire the wrong things and despise the right things in life. She should stay because I think that s a nation and a people our view of politics has hardly changed in the last 30 years. We have persons that criminally handcuff themselves to power and position, so the word 'go' is strange. Let Etteh stay. Almighty Allah help us appreciate the little things of life...they cost very little, Etteh did not steal, she only was not cautious but she could still have kept her integrity by resigning that seat with a little honour and that I think is worse than stealing in itself.
